Who is SWVNLVKE?

The sound of SWVNLVKE is characterized by the story telling techniques commonly found in symphonic repertoire which guides the path of artist Julian Clarkson's electronic music journey. Music has been an integral part of Julian's life since the age of 6 where his musical roots took shape as an orchestral musician, studying cello and bass, and then progressing into the woodwind family, earning the first ever undergraduate level Bachelor of Music in Multiple Woodwinds from Indiana University with an emphasis on saxophone, clarinet, flute, oboe, and bassoon. After finishing college a semester early (because let's face it, out of state tuition is no laughing matter...), Julian took to the high seas with Carnival Cruise Line as a Music Director. After returning shoreside and migrating to Miami in the new position of Musician and DJ Casting Supervisor, managing the musical casting for over 1400 musicians and DJs across the fleet of 26 ships, Julian's passion for electronic music became undeniable and in summer 2018, the SWVNLVKE concept was conceived. Immediately following Julian's departure from his position of nearly seven years with Carnival Cruise Line in October 2018, SWVNLVKE was forced to embark on a whirlwind of a mission to stay afloat while channeling over 20 years of musical background into an entirely new genre. Within just six months, SWVNLVKE has accomplished the feat of moving from bedroom DJ to mainstage opener for several international artists, including Andrew Rayel, Borgore, Doctor P, Getter, Snails, 1788-L, and GRAVEDGR.
